GROUNDSKEEPER, BUILDING MAINTENANCE, FOR RESIDENTIAL, COMMERCIAL

- CLEANING
- sweep and scrubs floors, vacuums carpets, shampoos rugs and dusts furniture and equipment. Job duties also include collecting and removing garbage, cleaning and restocking bathrooms and washing windows. If there is an unexpected mess, such as a large spills.
- Repair and Maintenance
responsible for minor repairs and maintenance of the building. They may change light bulbs, fix leaky faucets and make sure doors are locked make minor repairs or adjustments to keep the heating and cooling systems working properly. Perform minor electrical and plumbing fixes.
Responsible for duties outside the building, such as clearing snow from sidewalks and mowing lawns. Also may be responsible for spraying for insects or trapping and removing rodents.

Essential FunctionsAssesses malfunctions of computer hardware and/or software applications for the purpose of determining appropriate actions to maintain computer and network operations.• Conveying and/or gathering information required to perform functions.Installs computer hardware, peripherals, and network equipment and application software for the purpose of maintaining safe and effective district and site operations.•Procures equipment, supplies and materials for the purpose of maintaining availability of required items and completing jobs efficiently.•Repairs computers, peripherals, network equipment and software, requiring specialized computer and electronics repair for the purpose of maintaining computer and network equipment in a safe and functional operating condition.•Upgrades computers, peripherals, network equipment and software applications (e.g. installation, testing, configuring, etc.) for the purpose of meeting the computer processing needs of the users.Other FunctionsPerforms other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
